It's wonderful to see all of you with all your beautiful smiles in a place that is so special to me. It's also good to hear of your safe arrival. It's been an exciting day in Roanoke. We had the most powerful winds I've ever experienced. There are lots of houses without power. Perhaps you are hearing news from your own homes. The Second Pres sign on 3rd St. was torn off its posts and is lying on the ground. But all are safe, as best as I know.

Blessings to you in your word and in your play.
Nancy

Hope all is well! Can't wait to hear more. Thanks to all who set up this blog!!There are still plenty here without power- we lost ours Sun. around 1:00pm and thankfully got it back at 9:00 Mon. night. I was a little envious of your 80 degree weather! The Watt's did not lose power, but the Mann's surely did! Don't know about anyone else at this point. Take good care everyone. Lorah

Hi Team! I am so happy to hear that you arrived safely - with all bags! I think of all of you often and will do so almost constantly this week. I like to imagine what you are doing at different points throughout the day. I agree with Nancy - seeing your smiles in a place that is so special makes me so happy! Enjoy the week and work hard. Embrace each and every moment for the opportunity that it brings - and for what you can offer to it. "Let your light shine before others..." and see that light that is shining all around you.

Dios les bendiga.

Love,
Clark

I'm so glad that I can feel like I am accomplishing something reading this blog when I'm supposed to be studying for Economics! It is so great to see everyone and what yall are all doing. I've noticed some familiar faces of the children, some are so big now! While yall are enjoying the weather (except maybe the construction team) we had ice here in charlottesville last night! I know yall are all working hard and keeping in mind how much the beautiful people of the Dominican Republic appreciate everything yall do. Wish I could be there to help! Enjoy and be safe! Yall are all in my thoughts and prayers!
